QAD Releases Thailand 3.1 Country Extension for QAD Adaptive ERP, Other Adaptive Applications

QAD Inc., a leading provider of next-generation manufacturing and supply chain solutions in the cloud, has released its latest Thailand country extension for QAD Adaptive ERP and other Adaptive Applications.

Like many manufacturing businesses around the world, Thai manufacturers face ever-increasing disruption caused by factors that include the COVID-19 pandemic, technology-driven innovation, changing consumer preferences and new and revised government regulations. To succeed in the face of unprecedented change, manufacturers must be able to quickly adapt by rethinking their business models and processes in order to rapidly adapt to business turbulence and innovate for competitive advantage.

“QAD Adaptive ERP continues to support Thai manufacturers in their digital transformation journey by enabling them to become Adaptive Manufacturing Enterprises,” said QAD Vice President, South Asia, Leigh Fletcher. “The latest Thailand release delivers new functionality around internationalization and e-tax invoicing as well as key updates to the Adaptive UX.”

QAD consistently works to enhance its ERP solution thus improving the customer user experience, enabling them to extend configured solutions, increase user productivity and help to boost their manufacturing efficiency. The Adaptive UX applies these concepts across all aspects of manufacturing operations including supply chain, shop floor, production, customer management and the areas of taxes and finance.

QAD Internationalization addresses the challenges of internationalization for global manufacturers with country extensions. Country extensions provide functionality in the areas of reporting and data extraction to meet country-level tax and financial tracking and reporting compliance. In addition, withholding tax amounts can now be both automatically and manually added in Journal Entries with an added option for Banking Entries. There is a new layout and display data for the Input VAT Legal Report feature, allowing users to import data into an Excel spreadsheet. Finally, the Thailand Delayed Tax Maintenance feature has a new option to add or modify complementary information when recording VAT delayed taxes. This is used in specific scenarios where the data is not available or wrongly input by the user.

The Thailand 3.1 country extension has been certified for QAD Enterprise Edition 2019 and higher, and for Adaptive UX September 2021 and higher.
