Epson Showcases Latest Innovative Printing Technology At Its Inaugural LFP Innovation Day 2024 in Bangkok

  • Epson debuts the Epson SureColor SC-V1030 and Epson SureColor SC-F1030 to enhance retail store gift printing capabilities
  • Runway showcased full unique fashion collection in collaboration with seven ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase (AFDS) designers

Epson, a global leader in professional printing, hosted Epson’s first LFP Innovation Day 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. The event showcased a wide range of the latest innovative printing technology designed for the textile and retail industry, colour profile matching applications and professional photography reproduction.

With a curated walk-through complemented by presentations and demonstrations by Epson, attendees were able to gain a better understanding of improved print processes and its applications. Equipped with this knowledge, businesses can now explore ways to maximise print productivity and maintain cost efficiency. Businesses can also potentially reduce environmental impact with digital textile printing.

The LFP Innovation Day also features collaborative product demos that spotlights key features in accelerating productivity across industry verticals and its related applications.  Some of the demos include:

  • Signage Solutions – Speed up the colour management process with Epson’s new Auto Color Chart Reading Portable Table and the Epson SD-10 The demo showcases the execution of colour calibration and verification for printers to ensure consistent and accurate prints.
  • Textile Solutions – The demo showcased business scalability and customisation capability using Epson’s range of dye sublimation products. Epson will also be demonstrating the complete print and press processes using external products from collaborative partners such as Cricut.
  • Retail Solutions – Epson Craft Studio solution allows users to upload personalised images for printing on different materials using Epson Large Format Printers. This solution enables businesses to launch their business offerings without the hassle of a complex setup especially those entering the novelty goods production. The Epson Craft Studio is a monthly subscription plan which supports the streamlining of in-store operations from ordering posters and goods to printing and delivery. This service will be available in late 2024.
  • Photography Solutions – A live shoot and print sessions to showcase high-quality and highly accurate photo printing with the Epson SureColor SC-P6530D.
  • Minilab Solutions – Self-photo studio and photo kiosk photo printing concept using Epson SureLab SL-D530 and SL-D1030 to produce high-quality images.

At the event, Epson also debuted some of its latest products including the Epson SureColor SC-V1030, an A4 Desktop UV Printer designed for novelty goods and gift shops as well as the Epson SureColor SC-F1030, Epson’s most compact direct-to-garment printer to date.       

  • This latest advancement in technology, showcased in the SC-V103, aims to simplify the printing process while delivering high-quality prints for any medium including textile, fabric, wood, acrylic and more. This opens up new possibilities, enabling businesses to broaden their horizons and offer more to their customers.
  • Additionally, new innovative printers such as SC-F1030 are able to transform storefronts and novelty gift shops to one that is highly customisable and interactive The printer is capable of both Direct-to-garment (recommended for large prints) & Direct-to-film (recommended for small logo prints) printed modes, offering flexibility for business owners to meet their customers’ demands.

As part of the LFP Innovation Day programme, Epson unveiled the full unique fashion collection in collaboration with seven ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase (AFDS) designers through a runway showcase. The designs are based on the theme “Sustainability in Asia”, which represents the dedication to the preservation of nature, wildlife, and iconic architecture. Each piece of apparel from the collection was printed using Epson’s line of dye sublimation printers including SureColor SC-F6430, SureColor SC-F9430H and SureColor SC-F10030.
