ETDA Invites All to Cheer on the Finalists of “Awakening Digital Literacy Creator 2026” — Find Out Who Will Win on June 12!

The Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, has partnered with Thailand Knowledge Park (TK Park) under the Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD). They have joined forces with key partners, including the National Digital Economy and Society Commission (ONDE), the Creative Economy Agency (CEA), the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth), the Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand (APHEIT), Sure and Share Center by MCOT, Meta, and UNICEF Thailand, to host the final round of the “Awakening Digital Literacy Creator 2026” competition. Under the theme “Empowering Minds, Transmitting Knowledge, Towards a Digital Society,” the event aims to find the ultimate campaign that promotes digital and AI literacy among the 10 finalist teams. Find out who will take home the championship trophy together on June 12, 2026, via live broadcast on Facebook: ETDA Thailand.

Dr. Chaichana Mitrapan, Executive Director of ETDA, stated: “The Awakening Digital Literacy Creator 2026 is an extension of the EDC Pitching event, which has been held continuously for 3 years. It serves as a stage that offers opportunities for those who have passed the EDC Trainer training program to showcase their creativity, design campaigns, and develop tools to promote sustainable and literate digital co-existence. In its 4th year, the competition has received extensive collaboration from multiple network partners, starting from co-creating competition prompts that are ‘clear, modern, and practical.’ These prompts align with the current digital society, which is evolving rapidly in terms of AI Literacy, questioning technology, the ethics of content creators, and collective digital social responsibility. The grand return of this year’s competition under the theme ‘Empowering Minds, Transmitting Knowledge, Towards a Digital Society’ is a significant step forward from the concept of ‘Digital Citizenship’—moving people beyond being just ‘Users’ to becoming responsible and beneficial ‘Creators’ for society.”

Following a rigorous selection process by judges from ETDA and key partners—including TK Park, ONDE, ThaiHealth, Sure and Share Center (MCOT), and faculty representatives from the Faculty of Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University—out of 56 applicant teams that applied from March 16 to May 20, 2026, the 10 finalist teams for the Awakening Digital Literacy Creator 2026 have been selected. They are divided into 2 categories as follows:

Student Category (Ages 18-25) – 5 Teams: Team F1, Team One To Two, Team Ban Da Ra Ka Deian, Team Yuen Nueng Phrao Ma Khon Diao, and Team Luk Krajok.

General Public Category (Ages 25 and above) – 5 Teams: Team HERO Sam Phran, Team Prompt, Team Smile Cat Community, Team Shon Hyon, and Team New-na-pha.

Recently, all teams participated in a Pre-Pitching Workshop to further enhance their capabilities.
